  • Q: Why are there two Presale Groups?
    A: The Highway Companions Club wants to give fan club members who maintained their membership while the band was off the road, the first opportunity to purchase presale tickets - ahead of members who joined or returned to the club after the 2013 tour announcement.
  • Q: Do I have to be a Highway Companions Club member to participate in the Tour 2013 Highway Companions Club ticket presales?
    A: Yes, these presales are only for members of the Highway Companions Club (HCC).

    If you are not currently a member, click here to join. By subscribing now, you will have access to the Standard HCC ticket presales, which begin after the Legacy HCC ticket presales but before the general public on-sale. If you wish to renew your membership, click here to renew.

    Additionally, when the Standard HCC ticket presale begins (where available) for each show you may purchase a Fan Club 'bundle' that allows you to purchase a fan club membership and your presale tickets at the same time - please see below for more info.
  • Q: When is the latest I can join the Highway Companions Club to be involved in the online ticket presales and lotteries?
    A: You can join the club anytime prior to a presale or ticket lottery to participate, but in order to qualify for Legacy status you would have needed to have joined or have most recently renewed your membership on or before February 27, 2013.
  • Q: Which members qualify for Legacy presale status?
    A: Members qualify for Legacy status if they joined the club for the first time, or renewed their paid membership, between February 28, 2012 and February 27, 2013.
  • Q: How do I know which presale group I am a part of?
    A: Members qualify for Legacy status if they joined the club for the first time, or renewed their paid membership, between February 28, 2012 and February 27, 2013. Please note: presale codes assigned to those members with Legacy status begin with the letters TPHBA.

    Any member who joined the club for the first time, or most recently renewed their membership, on or after February 28, 2013 qualifies for the Standard presale.Please note: presale codes assigned to those members with Standard status begin with the letters TPHBB.
  • Q: How can I gain access to the fan club presale if I am not a member of the Highway Companions Club?
    A: At any time during the Standard presale period you can purchase a fan club membership bundle via the appropriate ticket purchase page, which will give you immediate access to presale tickets along and includes a one-year membership in the Highway Companions Club. After purchasing a Fan Club membership bundle through the ticketing site, you will receive fulfillment instructions via an email from that ticketing site.   • Q: What is an Internet presale?
    A: An Internet presale is an opportunity to purchase concert tickets prior to tickets being made available for purchase by the general public.
  • Q: Are all Internet presales taking place on Ticketmaster?
    A: No. Although the majority of the concerts will be available via Ticketmaster.com, AXS.com is the ticketing system for Target Center in Minneapolis and BudweiserGardens.com is the ticketing system for Budweiser Gardens in London, ONT Canada.
  • Q: How do I gain access to the Highway Companions Club Legacy & Standard presales?
    A: In order to take part in the presales you will need your unique presale code.

    Once you are logged in to HighwayCompanions.com, you can find your code in the "PRESALE CODE" box on the right hand side of the News page.

    To participate in the presale, note the presale start times below. Then take your presale code to the appropriate ticket purchase page (linked below) during the presale period to purchase tickets.
  • Q: Where is my presale access code?
    A: Once you are logged in to HighwayCompanions.com, you can find your code in the "PRESALE CODE" box on the right hand side of the News page.
  • Q: Do the presales start on the same day for all shows?
    A: No. Presale start times are available on each concert's presale information page, available here.
  • Q: Do I have to buy my Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers presale tickets in a specific timeframe?
    A: The member presale windows of access for each show will start before the public sale and the earlier you participate in your eligible presale for the show(s) of your choice, the better your chance of getting a ticket.The Highway Companions Club is able to offer members the chance to access presale tickets in all price-ranges however, as capacity in each category may be limited, all presale tickets are sold on a 'first-come, first-served' basis.
  • Q: How many tickets can I buy during the presale?
    A: With an active Highway Companions Club membership you are eligible to purchase up to six (6) tickets per show* during the presale.*Please note that some shows may have a different ticket limit and this limit will be announced clearly prior to the presale.
  • Q: If I miss the presale for the show of my choice, am I able to use my presale access code for public onsale tickets for that show?
    A: No. After the presale has ended for a show, any remaining tickets allocated for the presale for that show will go on sale to the general public. Your presale access code does not entitle you to any special access to tickets during the public onsale. The links to the general public ticket purchase pages will be available on the tour pages of TomPetty.com.
  • Q: How much do the Highway Companions Club presale tickets cost?
    A: Any tickets purchased during the presale will cost the same as the tickets available during the public sale and any additional ticketing system service charges will also be the same.There are multiple price levels to choose from.The Highway Companions Club presale privilege gives you advanced access to tickets, it does not provide you with a discount on ticket prices or charges.

  • Q: What are the delivery options for tickets purchased through the Highway Companions Club Legacy & Standard presales?
    A: Fan club presale tickets for US, Canadian and international customers are night of show Will Call only. Tickets will be distributed at the venue box office. Tickets will only be distributed to the purchaser of the ticket.Please bring your ticket confirmation and photo ID.(Tickets purchased during the public onsale may have additional delivery options such as mail & print at home.See the appropriate ticketing system purchase page for details.)

  • Q: Am I able to buy Highway Companions Club presale tickets over the telephone?
    A: No. Highway Companions Club presale tickets are only available to purchase over the Internet.
  • Q: How do I enter my personal presale code to take part in the presale?
    A: When the presale for your chosen show opens you will need to visit the ticketing system event page for that show.On that event page, there will be a box for you to enter your code.The links for the ticketing system event pages are available here on HighwayCompanions.com.The links will also be available on the tour pages of TomPetty.com.
  • Q: Once I have ordered tickets, will I receive an order confirmation?
    A: The ticketing system will provide an online order reference number as confirmation of your purchase.

  • Q: Can I get replacement tickets if I lose my tickets?
    A: Policy concerning lost tickets can vary from venue to venue so contact the customer service department of the ticketing system where you purchased your tickets to discuss your options.
  • Q: Once I have purchased them, when will I receive my tickets?
    A:Fan club and Premium Package tickets are night of show Will Call pickup ONLY.Tickets will be distributed at the venue box office to the original ticket purchaser only.Photo ID is required.No name changes are allowed.Please check the TomPetty.com News page for info on what time Will Call opens for these tickets at each venue.
  • Q: What forms of payment are accepted?
    A: This depends on the ticketing system, however most accept all major credit cards including American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Diners Club.
  • Q: How do I know where my tickets will be located?
    A: If you are buying seated/reserved tickets online through Ticketmaster, the specific seating location is displayed on Ticketmaster.com at the time of purchase.Other ticketing systems will also display your ticket locations.
  • Q: Am I able to cancel my tickets if I am unable to make the show?
    A: There are no exchanges, refunds or cancellations.
  • Q: How can I purchase tickets for disabled access?
    A: For Ticketmaster events, click the accessible seating icon on the Event Detail page and fill out a form, which sends an email request to Ticketmaster's e-care for handling.The form contains a field to accept your presale code.For non-Ticketmaster venues, please consult the FAQ for their ticketing system.
  • Q: What happens if a show is rescheduled or cancelled?
    A: Your tickets will be honored at the rescheduled date.If you cannot attend the new date or the show is cancelled you will receive a refund.
  • Q: What if I am not happy with the tickets I purchased?
    A: By completing a purchase for tickets you are in agreement that the seat locations you purchased are satisfactory.There are no exchanges, refunds or cancellations.
  • Q: Does Ticketmaster / AXS / Budweiser Gardens have customer support?
    A: Yes.   • Q: What do I do if my personal presale code does not work?
    A: 1. Check that the presale for your HCC group (Legacy or Standard) has opened for the show that you are trying to purchase tickets for.

    2. Check that you have entered your code correctly into the presale code field on the Ticketmaster.com event page. Your code is 14 characters long, contains uppercase letters and begins with TPHBA (Legacy Members) or TPHBB (Standard). Please be sure to enter your code carefully.The codes are case-sensitive.If you are using 'copy & paste' to enter your code, please ensure that you have only copied the 14 characters of your code and that you have not accidentally included any spaces.

    3. Check that you have not exceeded the ticket limit for your code. Each code is only valid for 6 tickets per show, except if a ticket limit is lower for a certain show, where noted.

  • Q: I have lost my old Highway Companion log-in information, what do I do?
    A: If you have your username or the email address you used to sign up for your account but have forgotten your password please click here and enter your username or email address into the Lost Password field.
